“The Dreaming Mind” - July 2025

Hey my friend,

Welcome to the very first print of the Cubist Print Club. I’m so excited to have you here. 

When I dreamed up this idea back in April, I went straight to work on it. It took me close to a month and half to get everything just right for a July 1st launch date. I was so excited about it and almost launched it early. But of course all my planning went sideways when I ran into tech issues on launch day. I ended up spending twelve straight hours working out all of the kinks. 

Thank you so much for sticking with me and emailing me when you saw a problem. Without you I wouldn’t have known there were issues. Everything is fixed now and running just like it should. 

Now onto the art! 

When I started working on, The Dreaming Mind, I was huddled in my little studio thinking of life and imagining a better world. I’ve been overwhelmed by all of the chaos going on across the globe.  It’s a pretty scary place now isn't it? 

So I did what any artist does, I retreated to my safe space, grabbed a piece of paper, put my headphones on, and went to work. 

My favorite song of all time is, Imagine, by John Lennon. It sounds silly but I listened to it on repeat for the four hours it took me to create this piece. In fact I nearly named it, Imagine.
