Eyes Toward Tomorrow - October 2025

The Cubist Print Club - October 2025

Hello my friend,

So much has happened since my last letter. The flooring saga continues, but I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. Only two more rooms to complete, and I’m finished. I hope this is the last time I’ll ever have to install the floor myself. I’m getting a little too old to be crawling around on the ground.

On September 21st, we welcomed our third granddaughter, Kellie, into the world—eleven weeks early. My daughter and baby are doing well. As of writing this letter, Kellie has been with us for one whole month and is improving daily. She’s currently in the neonatal unit at the hospital, and we hope she’ll be home by Thanksgiving. Any good thoughts or prayers are much appreciated.

I’m not sure if you saw that I’m on a thirty-day hiatus from social media and my cell phone. It was a much-needed break. I was having trouble focusing on art or even sitting still long enough to read a book. All I wanted to do was scroll on my phone. I don’t think I realized how addicted I was until I decided to put it down. My goal is to learn how to be bored again and allow my mind to wander. I’m hoping for that creative spark to return. I’m actually reading books again, writing, taking long walks, and staring up at the clouds.

This month's print, titled “Eyes Toward Tomorrow,” is special to me. I’ve been thinking so much about the future lately, and no matter how crazy my life seems at the time, the sun will still rise tomorrow and bring with it hope for better times.

Thank you so much for being a part of the print club. I so enjoy sending my art and letter to you each month.

With love and gratitude,

~Jason
