"Inner Horizon: A Work in Progress Reflecting Inner Growth"

“What lies behind you and what lies in front of you, pales in comparison to what lies inside of you.” ~Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Today, I’m excited to share a sneak peek into my latest work in progress, "Inner Horizon, 2024." This piece draws inspiration from Ralph Waldo Emerson's powerful reminder that our true potential lies within. The outward distractions—whether from the past or future—fade when we take the time to reflect inward and explore the depths of who we really are.

As you can see in the image, the framework for "Inner Horizon" is beginning to take shape. The abstract lines and intricate forms are a reflection of the journey inward, symbolizing the complexity of our inner world. From the expressive eyes representing introspection to the geometric patterns that suggest the layers of identity we uncover, this piece is a tribute to the exploration of self.

While still in its early stages, this artwork already holds deep meaning for me. I believe the process of creation mirrors the process of self-discovery—layer by layer, step by step, we uncover more of ourselves.

If you enjoy posts like this—where I share behind-the-scenes looks at my creative process—let me know in the comments. I’d love to connect and hear your thoughts on this piece and the journey it represents.

Stay tuned for the finished piece and remember to take a moment today to reflect on your own inner horizon.
